What you need to do is adapt this anti-theft devise and buy a chain long enough then attach it to a screw in the wall and the other end to the implements so that the dustpan and brush can ONLY be used in your room and nowhere else...:D:cool:

What in a school with the health and safety patrol - no chance.

    Afternoon all

Sorry so many of you are having a tough time, love to you all.

    Been to my ski lesson
    picked up a radiator
fed DS2 - today's child for being off school sick
made copious cups of tea/coffee for highways (yes they are back and have dug up the road outside my driveway)
    emptied DW and WM

Just going to do 15 minutes in the kitchen and then HH packing before I have to get DS3 from tennis club.

sexymouse Take the rest of the week off. You need to rest to get better properly.

jinky, ease up on yourself hun. And just so you aren't alone I will admit I have massive problems waking up and getting up in the mornings because of the meds I take to get me through the night. Then I too feel like I have lost half the day and get frustrated with myself.

Hellsbells I am on light duities too so I will join you in doing some easier jobs for the rest of the week.

L-l Hugs love, thinking of you today!

Hips, elbows and knees are all complaining now and I also had an asthma atttack sweeping the stairs this morning. DH and DS1 are looking after me now. They made my lunch and are bringing me tea too:)

I did vacuum the living room, hall and study whilst the were still in bed. DH wants to know if I will ever learn!!

    Hi guys,

I got back from Australia a few hours ago, well at least my body did, my mind and spirit seem to have got lost on the way back. I have already unpacked and have done one load of washing which is hanging up to dry. I will not be doing any flying lists this week, just recovering from my trip and doing the dailies.

Hope everyone is ok, I have probably missed out on loads!

Oh no!!!!! I've got a place in the Great North Run. I did enter but since entering I was kinda hoping that I didn't get a place. Really going to have to get training. The run is 13 miles and I've only ever done just over 6 miles. At least I've got until September to train.

Fantastic - have you done it before? I've done it 3 times (before having kids). Diidn't train properly and really struggled for a few days afterwards, but raised lots of money for Cancer Research so well worth it. Loads of people walk it - the atmosphere will get you round - its great.

Anyway, quick rest with kids while I wait for the kitchen floor to dry. Anyone for a cup of tea???
Mammy to 3 gorgeous children. :)

    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Now who would have encouraged you to do that :D -brilliant you got in, you'll be fabulous!

    Can't think who?!;)

Thanks for your encouragement everyone. I think I'm going to need it!

Cazzab...I've done the Manchester 10K 3 times now (am doing it this year too) and done the Sunderland 10K a couple of years ago but I've never gone anywhere near that far. Up until 4 years ago I was not a runner at all so it is a big achievement for me to run a mile never mind 13! My target at the moment is to run all the way...don't really care what my time is. Although my competitive streak may kick in and I'll probably give myself a time target nearer the time.

    Hi everyone

I've been very naughty and not been flying recently - as a result our house feels like it's shrunk cos it's filling up with clutter! I've scheduled myself some time to do a big clean on Friday and I'll try to do some bits and bobs before that, so who knows i might even get a star by the end of the week

    Afternoon all,

The dentist wasn't too bad it wasover quite quickly, Ds2 kept my mind off it by nattering to the dentist about Dr Who. Ds1 is having problems with his Xbox it won't read discs, it's just out of warranty and microsoft want £80 to fix it :eek::eek: bearing in mind this is his 3rd Xbox in just over a year because the first two had the ring of death. There's no way i can afford it it's ridiculous.

I need to get the washing in and cook tea next.
