Well, as neither device actually worked, then I'm glad they failed to make it onto the online shop.

In reply to post #2 by Geordie Joe.

I know that this is an old thread but I have been looking at ways to 'Up my Income' and have looked at MLM companies in general. I took a look at Wikaniko and at first glance it seems like a decent company. It has a range of products for sale from beauty to household products which everyone needs/can use. From a little research on my part, some of the products are more expensive than supermarket brands, some a little cheaper, and some where there is no difference in price.

There is the added 'bonus' if you like, that hopefully you will be helping the environment. If you like the products, then you will buy them, and if you work for Wikaniko, then you will make some money. Sounds a good deal.

The hesitation I have in joining any MLM company, Wikaniko, Utility Warehouse, etc. is that I do a little research and many people seem to rave about them (see the link above that has a review of Wikaniko) but dig a little deeper and you learn that 'Drew Mitchell', the reviewer in the article, is in fact married to the daughter of the founders, Trevor and Karen Blake, and he is listed as a Director of the Company! Fair play to the company for trying to get positive publicity and more interest in their business, but it always makes me suspicious about joining if they 'review' their own company - hardly an independent review then is it?

Just my view though...if you are happy with the company and it's products, fantastic!

Strange that you dig up this old thread to have a pop at them.Have you an hidden agenda.

As if they would allow the company director to write his own unbiased review. The reviews are conducted by the editor. Drew Mitchell is the company contact.

I've just joined Wikaniko as a distributor. They have an offer on at the moment where you can defer the £79 joining fee for 6 months so it seemed like a good time to try it.

I'd love it if there was a Wikaniko thread on MSE where distributors could share our experiences and tips. Unfortunately it seems like this one has descended into disagreements but it seemed silly to start a new Wikaniko thread when there is one already. I'll definitely be sharing my experiences as a distributor here.

I'm really excited about selling Wikaniko products. I'm going to start selling on stalls at fairs next month. I'm ordering some scented soaps, shampoo bars, candles and some of the Faith in Nature shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bath foam. If anyone has any product recommendations, please let me know.
