Payment arrangements fscs

Hi, can anyone explain to me about the payment arrangements on the claim form for the fscs.
We have to put a claim in because company has gone into administration and have filled in form, but do not understand the bit of who the money should go to.
They state they '..may be able t make a payment directly to your lender so that your outstanding loan is reduced. If so any fees or charges resulting from this repayment of your loan many form part of your compensation calculated by FSCS'
If compensation is paid directly to us they state '....FSCS will not include any fees or charges in the offer of compensation'.
As we have a substantial amount to be compensated for for a mis sold PPI we do not want to lose any more money. What fees or charges do they mean. I can ring them tomorrow but would like to know now if possible.
Many thanks.

Hi there
Many of us have been through the FSCS for claims, ours was paid directly to us, but ours was settled, I would post about this on the above FSCS thread, where many in the same situation as yourself will be able to help, we wrote payable to us because of the loan not longer running, but not sure if this will vary or not, and I still believe this can be refunded to you.

Good luck and I'm sure you will find the answers on the thread link I posted.;)
If you don't mind me asking, who are the company dissolved? Cheers. The one and only "Dizzy Di"
