Closing Alliance And Leicester Account..

I opened an account for the £100 switching offer and I've now had the £100 (and the £45 quidco), can I just close the account or have I missed something where you have to stay with them for X amount of time?

    I have kept mine open.
You can get £20 fom quidco for opening an online saver account. You do need £1000 to open it but I used my free overdraft for this. You can do this every time they introduce a new issue of the online saver.

For keeping the account open for one year so far I should see.
£45 quidco for opening the Premier Account
    £100 for switching
£20 quidco for opening an online saver Issue 5 account
£20 quidco for opening an online saver Issue 7 account
£24 interest from the free overdraft moved to the online saver account.

    Thats over £200.
Could have been more but missed the online saver Issue 6!

Must've been hospitalised, knowing you noh! ;)

I'm still (some 16-17 months on!) stoozing a £10K A&L overdraft, which is currently making me over £25 net a month in my LTSB Vantage accounts. Subtract the £5 per month overdraft fee and it's still over £240 per year for nowt! :D

Never even thought of this, although i'd rather not have a 10k O/D sat on my credit history lol, I need to do a balance transfer soon off my credit card :)
