Family hotel in Barcelona

I appreciate that this thread has been done to death but I'm specifically looking for a hotel that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children in the same room. ie we can put an extra bed and a travel cot in. Location isn't particularly important as I used to live in BCN and know my way around. But we never stayed in hotels so I'm a bit clueless about them! It's only for one night.

Was in Barcelona earlier this year. I booked using the Hotel Club Site. Excellent accommodation, rate and location. Less than a third than booking direct and with some other “cheap” sites, but suppose it just depends?
Have a look and see if anything is suitable. Always check out the accommodation before booking by looking at other sites.
Good luck.0 -
I'd recommend doing a search on https://www.venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance!)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W
Hope that helps0 -
Hi, have a look here and type in Spain in the box
'find somewhere to stay'
then click on Spain,Madrid and it will show you details for the new Barcelona lodge. (its about 8km outside the city centre)
Prices are currently on special for 35 euros per night for a family room (usually, 80 euros)

We've just been having the same problem - all the rooms near the centre are just doubles or accomodate just an additional cot.
I finally booked the Gaudi Hotel which is very central:

Good luck - we're going in October so please post any family deals you find!:0 -
By coincidence we're flying out to Barcelona tomorrow, 17/7 (2 adults, 2 children). Staying at Hotel Spa Senator, 4* 100 Euros (£70) for room, includes breakfast. A few hundred metres from the Nou Camp Stadium.
We haven't been before but reviews seem ok.0 -
I know the Hotel Gaudi as a friend stayed there once. It was nice.
I think I know of the Spa Senator as we lived in the Collblanc area but I never went in. Could you let me know what it was like when you get back? The rate is very reasonable. Thanks. BTW there is a brilliant Italian restaurant called D' Angelis on C/ Collblanc. Cross over C/Collblanc from McDonalds and walk up the road (left) past the pharmacy and mobile phone shop and it's just a few shops up. Highly recommended but no menus in English if you're Spanish challenged.0 -
www.rent4days.com We booked an apartment in El Born which had room for 6 people, all open plan, I think the apartment we booked is called the Stylish Loft or something similar. Also ask for a discount, I did and got about 30/40 euros knocked off (can't remember exactly).2p off is still 2p off!0
