All my applications were turned into zip files. I cant use system restore because thats also a zip file.

Well I suppose you will have planty of room on your computer now.0 -
it could possibly be an infection
or could it be possible that you mistakenly clicked something to turn all your files into zip files when you had winzip installed? if this is the case, could you not re install winzip and extract them all again? this may at least let you open some of your zip files, if you can then get system restore to work, you can go back to before you installed winzip?

Basically my .exe registry got corrupted. Download a .exefix file and merged it to my registry and it was sorted in a matter of 3 seconds.
It was lucky uninstalling winzip opened up IE or i would of been stuck on desktop.0 -
