Log in problem to MSE using Firefox

When my friend tries to log in to MSE using Firefox, his log in name comes up twice, once with the first letter in upper case and the other with the first letter in lower case. When the one with the upper case is clicked and then the log in button, it is the lower case name which is used. How can the lower case name be deleted?

Thanks.

It is there because he must have misspelled his user name at some time.

Go to Tools > Clear Recent History >
in the Time Range to clear dropdown select 'Everything'
expand the 'Details' section and tick 'Form & Search History'
    Click 'Clear Now'

That should clear all entries in the User Name box

That'll delete ALL saved passwords and form history though, which may not be ideal. If you just want to delete one entry, highlight it with your cursor and press shift-delete on the keyboard
