When are you looking for and at what resort?

It's not a glitch, look at the link on post 8, it is advertised on their website. I checked this morning and the offer price is still showing for the date we are going.

Make sure you choose Hotel & Ticket as you have to buy the 14 day ticket (they have the 14 day ticket for the price of 7 offer on too) to get the Free Dining Plan.

You might also want to consider paying an extra £30 to get the 21 day ultimate ticket if you are going for 14 days. You'll be able to sell it when you are done for around $100 at one of the ticket booths on the way back to the airport so make a small profit. They give $30 for 2 days remaining. I've never done this so someone else might be able to give advice on this, we have always used ours to the max.

  • Sorry to be a pain, but could someone let me know how they got their flights.

I have looked at the holiday through the disney website and the prices look pretty good but then I went on virgin to look at flights and they tried to charge me £4000 for 2 adults and 2 kids return for flight only!!!

I cant figure out where I am going wrong as I thought the poster said they bought the holiday through disney and then flights through virgin.

If anyone knows how I get cheap flights please let me know because I never thought we could afford disney but it looks like we can if I can get a good deal on flights :j

    Hi Helen,

If you are going to do Discovery Cove book this on Expedia as you get 12% cashback for the tickets which are the same price as anywhere else. Likewise for the other tickets except disney - all on Expedia with 12% cashback.

Do look into the 3 for 2 though as they are £69 for adults tickets for the 3 parks, 14 days admission. OMG, we have been holding off on going, waiting for Harry Potter World to open, LOL!!

I think Halloween will be finished by 18th November though as Xmas will be 'on'.

    Cannot wait!!

    Hiya bluemonkey thanks
we have been this time of year before and we catch the end of halloween, the christmas in disney doesnt start till after thanksgiving around begining of Dec , on another note we are there for the black friday sales :j not that thats the reason we go of course :rotfl:
i will have to look into this quidco as never done it before, was thinking of using our family fund voucher with thomas cook for tickets? anybody know if can do this?
    thanks again helen

Yes I was shocke dby the price of tickets too.

The best thing to do is this.... got to the Virgin Atlantic website. Look for the dates you want and play with the days because it gives you the return prices, Tues, Weds, Thurs are much cheaper day to fly on it seems. We got good prices on a Sunday though, and it is half term, maybe we just got lucky. Click through as if you are going to confirm and you'll be able to see what the cost of the flights are, what is the cheapest time (there are 2 to Orlando), etc....

Then go back to the Virgin Holidays website and choose 'fly drive' from the tabs on the left hand side. Kids prices are cheaper than the VA flight prices if you book a holiday or 'Fly Drive' and so this is why it balances out. If you want the car choose the car, if you do not then uncheck the box for Insurance of the basic car and it knocks around £350 off the price shown in the box on the right. Go to the next page.

Then add your tickets for any extras.

Buy the Universal tickets and you get your free HP bonus.

And Virgin Holidays also give an 'online discount' shown at the end of your booking.

Beware of the 'peak time flight supplement' which adds onto your price by quite a hike sometimes (Flights on a Saturday are around £1000 pp - try not to fly on a Saturday) but you should be able to get good prices by moving with the dates and flight times to get the cheapest options. We fly on Sun 24th (half term) on the later flight and come back on Sat 13th (yes, I know!!!!!! at least it is not Friday) on the later flight and we have not paid a single supplement for the flights.

I do know they have gone up, I complained about it on another thread about 3 weeks ago - and the flight we wanted in Oct had gone up by £130 in a day so I thought I had better get my finger out and book it.
