Quick question DEO

I'm almost sure I read somewhere that it is now a criminal offence when an NRP with a DEO in place fails to inform the CSA of a change of employer (CSA2) in order to evade paying child support.
Is there any truth in this?

I believe that is in the new rules that and it is also mandatory to notify of a change of address within 7 days "or you may be committing a criminal offence"Relativity - the study of relativity will reveal that time passes through all points simultaneously prooving that space and time are entirely reletive depending on who is asking the question and what answer you want to give.
Space is not merely slightly curved it can be bent to touch itself without breaking the rules of relativity. :rotfl:0 -
Think I've found it: SI Child Support amendments 2008 amends section 15 of the child support act 1992
That right?0 -

Possibly is it not an adminstative offence of up to £1000 to fail to notify them .
"If you fail to give us the information we need , or you give us information that you know is false ,we can take you to court and you could be fined up to £1000.This applies to any person or organisation who, by law, must give us information -such as employers and accountants as well as parents."
Quoted straight from the book
Never heard of anyone going to court for this though ?
Maybe someone else could enlighten you

they can, but it's a whole lot of hassle and in reality it's just another of their bully boy tactics.
this pathetic "not fit for purpose" agency rely on bullying, empty threats and illegal actions to meet their targets for the bosses bonus'.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -

Exactly
Now i'm bullying them and calling the shots so hopefully my DEO will get scrubbed tomorrow as i believe the pwc has been paid too much (see other post) :T0 -
Can't ask a question on here without people detracting from the question asked and hijacking an OP. I asked a question which required a straightforward and factual answer, I didn't ask for people's personal opinions of the CSA or whether being a criminal offence is "morally" right.
I did not indicate whether this was to do with an ongoing case, (which it isn't) nor did I indicate that an NRP must be a "he" which isn't always the case. Who said anything about a PWC being a "she" or about any court order in place? I know I didn't, so goodness only knows how those all came into the equation of the question I put.
There is plenty of room on the forum for others to do that, please have some respect for other members and use that space for discussion if you so wish, rather than taking over a thread entirely. Thank you.0 -

Sorry you feel this way then
Other forum users are only telling you of their experiences of the CSA .
If you don't understand the statement in bold go and seek legal advice and maybe not criticise other users of the forum

Hope this helps

I can understand it perfectly thank you. I was looking for the SI amendment to the Act (if it existed, which it does) as part of a course I am doing which is why I am not interested in experiences; I'm interested in the legal side of it, the wording of the acts not the policies or guides, and not the morals which is why I asked here as I am aware CSA employees post here and would probably be able to point me in the right direction.
If I want experiences I have my own and can find others by looking round the boards.
I'm fully aware of how shoddy the business is, but that is not what I asked about.0 -

If you are looked for specific ammendments of the act you should have mentioned that in the post
