Virgin Train Refund Help!!!!
Can someone help me?
I book tickets on Virgin Trains website all the time, and since the change of design, it's a little tricky booking the tickets you need. I booked a return from Wolverhampton - London and wanted a travel card to go round London on the first day i'm there, and then have a return back the day after.
I got the tickets and they were wrong! I booked them as normal, but they say that the travelcard has taken out the return for the day after, and makes the ticket same day return!!!! After much arguing with the *ahem* customer service department, I have sent my tickets back for a refund.... and this is where it gets worse.....
I sent them back with royal mails recorded post service, and they were signed for on 25/01/10, and I have the proof..... Virgin Trains say they don't have them?!?!?!?!?!?!
I just don't know what to do, as I paid for them on my credit card, and was going to pay the bill in full when it came in, but I can't pay it as I need a refund....so i'm going to get charged interest.... which I HATE!!!!
Can someone please give me some advice on what to do? I've already e-mailed them back and told them that they have them, gave them the tracking number, and told them if I don't get a refund, I will take them through the small claims court.
I'm worried I won't get a refund, when they have my tickets!!!! :mad:

I have a similar problem.I accidently bought tickets twice over the net,browser problems.Paid £84 twice 18/01/2010.Phoned virgin trains immediately and tried to cancel one set of tickets and was told to send the tickets back.I sent them back by recorded mail.Have phoned them 3 times and sent 2 letters.In my latest letter i have sent a printout of the tracker document from royal mail with their signature of receipt.Have finally threatened them with trading standards.0
