NPower switching question

Im wanting to swich from NPower - had a look through my papers and on my March billt shows the yearly discount is credited in December.

As ive not had my bill will this have actually been taken off or should i wait till i get my next bill to ensure its been deducted?

As far as I am aware it will have been credited to your account in December and will show on your next bill, which if you switch away could be your final one.
Although if your next bill is due in March you may still receive that as the switch may not have gone through by then.

Thanks - i guess im asking am i save to switch - ie will i still get the credit

I don't think there is any danger in switching even if it has not been credited. As long as you are confident about the dates (and you have paid all direct debits and know the anniversary date from which the second fuel was transferred) you are entitled to the discount.

Yeah im sure of the dates - i got it in writing when i wrote to them complaining about another matter
