    I will however agree to her terms with regards to who our children have access to for the first month however during this time she must make her reasons very clear as to why she is requesting these restrictions, I would like to say that I am not placing any such restrictions over who the children can and cannot see whilst they are with her and would hope that she could extend me the same trust for the sake of the children so that protracted proceedings can be avoided and they can have the benefit of having a relationship with both of their parents.

    ==================================

    definitely not. you cant approach this on the backfoot.

    either do not mention her restrictions at all and let her argue it in court or put something like

    "if megawitch has any concerns over who we see whilst the children are in my care, then i suggest she gathers any evidence of unsuitability or welfare issues and present them to the court.

    as an equal parent, i do not appreciate being told who i can and cant see during contact times. i would not even entertain the ridiculous notion of requesting such sanctions on megawitch, therefore see no validity to her arguement."

    you cant puzzyfoot around with vermin like this, you need to stand firm and stay focused.

    i was "coached" for my court appearences. my attitude was very similar, downtrodden. i learnt to be firm, stand my ground and leave the mud slinging and rowing to the ex when you get to court. it's actually quite easy and very satisfying to go in armed with facts and showing the ex up to be a contact blocking scumbag.

    all i did was provoke her (subtly of course ;) ) into spouting off and then sit back and watch the judge flame her accordingly. to get the judge on side you need to stay calm and let the ex bury herself, then the judge will "persuade" her to comply with your more than reasonble requests. they see and hear rows everyday, so if you refuse to get drawn in and just stand your ground politely, don't interrupt (even when you want to take your briefcase and ram it down the witch's throat) and you will get the judge acting with you rather than against.
    NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

    and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.

    I totally agree with speedstar. Do not allow your ex to impose any restrictions and do not agree to them. Other than that, the letter is fine.

    Good luck.

    Listen to Speedster and MrMcG. In a courtroom, if you took this approach, they would assume that her allegation can be substantiated.
