villa holidays

i have been looking at holidays in the canaries or balearics in may. I would prefer a private villa or an appartment in a small block away from the chaos of a package holiday. Villas seem to be very reasonable but I am looking for cheap flights pref. tenerife or lanzarote. I would like to leave from glasgow but if the price is right I will travel. Anyone heard of any good deals??

Anytime around the first week in may for 7 days.

How many seats do you want-any kids (if so how old) & what is the 1st/last date to travel? Do you have an approx. max budget (saying 'as cheap as possible does not help!)? Lanzarote I think will get you the best weather & price! Come back to me & I'll try & get you a good price.

Found https://www.ownersdirect.co.uk and https://www.holiday-rentals.com very useful and have booked holidays using the service.

https://www.daltonsholidays.com have listings from owners..much cheaper than going through agencies but then you dont get the same guarantee of standards.

we booked two villas last year through that website....successfully I might add.

there are also magazines in WHSmiths etc with villa ads.

The booking will be for two adults and one child and I can be flexible with the dates around last week in april first two weeks in may. I was hoping to get it for a max of about £750 for the whole trip.
