I use a credit card for everything I can as I get 1% cashback on it. I pay the balance off in full every month. It's free money :D

    Same here Mskool

Ask is a kind of Italianish chain - Slug & Lettuce is an upmarketish chain pub.

I like taking the kids to places like that - kids' menus, free colouring stuff, food they'll eat, staff/customers do not tut when you come in with kids...plus the food is quite pleasant.

Bit bland chain-y experience, but then there are times that's exactly what you want.
Yes, I get you. Theres loads of kid-orientated places here, being at the seaside and all, but they are mostly independant I guess (there is an awful brewers fayre though). Suppose thats still a bit of an oldy-worldy concept for some, but then maybe thats part of the attraction :)

ETA: I lie. We have a prezzos (I assume thats a chain?)

Noticed you're still on Desertfox. Who will you be supporting? I'm a Saints fan myself, have even seen them play, albeit at Wembley.

We don't even have a Brewers Fayre thingy. We do have a few decent family run places although nothing particularly child friendly.

We are 50 miles from the nearest cinema and without internet shopping I'd be spending my cash in pound shops.

Loads of hairdressers though. None of them particularly good.

Leaning towards the Saints, on the basis they're the slight underdog.
I am otherwise a Cowboys fan.

    Will you be watching viva?

I can't watch all of it as I'm working 9am-8pm tomorrow, but plan to watch as much as poss. I like the Cowboys, just think Romo hasn't quite got a full armoury yet. Don't know about you, but I play Fantasy NFL on Sky every year. Pick my teams based on the uniforms that I like and the best looking players/benching the bad boys. Don't know enough to do more. Best ever week's placing 27th....
