Travel Insurance Isle Of Man - Infor required

Hi guys, this is my first post.
In April the reciprocal healthcare agreement between the Isle of Man and The UK comes to an end, meaning that any residents traveling between the 2 will require travel insurance for any treatment above and beyond emergency care.
My main query is regarding my partner. She is Manx by birth and left the IOM last year to come and live in the UK. We are not married, and we have a young son together. She has not worked while in the UK (ie, not paid NI) as she has spent her time looking after the little'un, and has claimed no benefits during this time.
I, on the other hand am a UK resident and our son was born in England.
I understand that when i travel to the IOM i will need insurance, however, when my partner travels with our son and my self, will she require cover? Her parents are still in the IOM and she carries a Manx passport, but officially resides in the UK.
Any help is much appreciated

Is this not a question for the authorities in the IOM. If they say no cover, then you take out Insurance.
Is the reciprocal agreement coming to end permenantly or are they just in the process of negotiating a new agreement? The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
