Whirlpool Oven Button Problem

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to solve the following problem without me paying hundreds to a whirlpool engineer like i did just for a new heating element.

Yesterday the button on my built in oven decided to stop working. You can feel it click as per normal but nothing registers. Due to this i cant use my oven or my grill. Luckily my hob is gas.

Anyone know of a way to fix this or even what it could be

Also my father tried to have a look at it but it seems there is no way to get the front panel off. Can this be done or am i going to have to try and move the whole oven?

I appreciate any advice anyone can offer as i really cannot afford to replace this or pay for major repairs right now.

Thanks
