Hi all,
I am on British Gas Pre Payment Click Package for my Gas and Electric and with the new british gas rates coming into effect on my meter soon i cant work out if moving to Ebico like i was going to do is now a bad move with the new rates from BG coming out. I have put the rates below can anyone advise me if BG would be cheaper now than Ebico for Gas.
Ebico Rate for Gas - 3.675p per kWh including VAT
British Gas (Pre Payment Click Package New Rates)
Tier1 = 6.466p per KWh inc VAT (First 670 kWh per Quarter)
Tier2 = 2.978p per KWh inc VAT
Thanks
Chris

Unless you tell us how many kWhs you are planning to use it is tricky to tell.
I'd estimate in the order of 1050 kWh per month is the approximate break even point.0 -
Hi,
Well i have not got my figures back from BG yet for how much i have used from when we moved in the flat in Sept but we use £10 a week on Gas

I'm a low gas and electricity user so it made sense for me to move the Ebico (Southern Electric billing), but I also choose not to pay by direct debit and Ebico don't discriminate against users according to their payment method.Free thinker.:cool:0

Hi,
Yep am not sure if to move over as BG have reduced there rates to the ones above and they look cheaper to me but i dont have a clue if it would be cheaper to move or not
