One of my husband's classics was when we were having our extension built and he said we should have one of those dildo rails round the bathroom walls. He couldn't make out why I was killing myself laughing and I had to explain it is called a dado rail not a dildo rail.
His mum is just as bad, she once announced the children would be looked after in a quiche at church and a relative apparently lives near sellotape-she meant Sellafield.0 -
