Paint my shed

Hi all,

Got a boring brown shed that needs bringing to life, we want to paint it baby blue and white horizontal stripes, beach hut stylee.

Does anyone know somewhere that sells coloured paints for sheds? All the DIY places only seem to have creosote etc!

Cuprinol do a good range. They're usually displayed with the creosote etc. Otherwise, you could just use exterior wood paint (gloss or satincoate), which would probably give you a better range of colours, but you'll probably need to undercoat first.

We used ranch paint on ours.I dont know where you can get it now. We bought 4 tins in dark green 20 years ago and have just finished the last of it on the second shed this year. Its very weather proof,you just brush down with a stiff brush before painting and lasts years .Comes in different colours.
Probably DIY shops will know what it is.

Don't think so -creosote got banned in 2003
