Hi, for some time now I've had an email account with a company called '6zap.com'. They were quite reliable and I had registered my email their on several websites that I use. However, just this morning I tried to log in to my bookmarked email account with 6zap and I find some dodgy site for selling scooters http://www.6zap.com/.
I've tried to google the problem but not come up with anything. Anyone have any ideas, thanks.

sounds like the domain name and/or the hosting has expired and hasn't been renewed to me0
-
Yes, that sounds plausible.
That's really annoying as I had a load of messages on their email servers.
Am I to assume that that's it, there's nothing I can do.
Oh well, I guess that's a lesson.0 -
As post 3 says I come across a fair few sites that have gone and that web site has taken its place0

Thats a parking page, looks like the company has probably gone under, or done a runner with the money and just parked all the sites instead. Im guessing the site was probably ran by some kid in his bedroom with a reseller account he bought on ebay for a tenner or so, and it got shut down.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
It was a free site. I guess the intention was to slowly try to persuade people to buy into it over time. Obviously he couldn't be bothered with it.
Very irritating as I had a load of messages on there which I'd like to have kept.0 -
Do you know if the domain name (let's say by me) were renewed, then all the messages would become available again?0
