    i was 2.5k for a 206 1.4 after i passed at 17

    its a forgein car/big engine

    anything over 1.2 in the first 5 years brings higher insurance

    OP id look at changing bits yourself eg wiper blades could be cheaper bought off say ebay than getting a garage to do them when its got its due an mot, tyres could be bought cheaper if you find an independant garage to fit them,
