A chap knowcked on my door this morning from EDF and told me whether I am aware that my current electricity supplier is not passing the lower rates to me. I told him, I am with Scottish Power fixed rate. He went on and on that I am paying too much electricity etc. In the end I told him I am happy to stay with SP. Just wonder whether he was trying to get me to change supplier. My friend talked to one of these people, and she did not even realized she had signed a form to transfer. It's just they have a way of talking so as to confuse people. Thanks

    Believe me, he didn't just knock on your door for a friendly chat about electricity prices...
    If you didn't sign anything and didn't show him any bills or let him take your meter number, you should be OK.
