Another A&L question...

For those who have already done this, i have 2 accounts with Nationwide a main one and one i dont use, i dont want to close this main account account.

If i transfered one DD over to the spare account (that currently has no DD on it ) and did the switch to A&L would i qualify for the £100 if i made sure i put 500 in, also do you HAVE to close the account??

  • A&L just sent me a form to sign and send to Halifax closing the account. Thankfully I didn't send it off.

    Yes that will work. I did similar with a Halifax account.
    As already stated there is no requirement to close the existing account.
