Curry's on line price promise.

Comet currently have an item I wish to purchase and it has a current offer of 10% off, if you enter the code showing on their home page.

This makes it 10% cheaper than Curry's so requested a price match from Currys's plus 10%, as per their price promise. However they stated this does not fulfil the promise because the actual price showing on the Comet website is the same as their's.

This is not mentioned in the points of their price promise, it just states that if you can purchase cheaper from any of the online stores shown, they will price match plus 10%. I understand that if it was a personal discount or staff then I wouldn't expect it, but this is clearly an online offer from Comet.

It's still £5.50 but as you state, not really worth the hassle. Just wondered what people's thoughts were.

Thanks, very helpful. Why the sticky out tongue?

Never been in debt and look after every penny that's why £5.50, a whole hours wages for me, was the point and the free delivery when Comet charges £19.95 was a factor too, but never mind!!

Every body seems to forget about Dixons.

On Monday i went onto the Currys site, the cooker i wanted was there at £229.
Following night i went to order it and it had gone up £20 to£249:eek:
(it was also on Comet at £249)

Now, just for that Currys are not going to get my custom.

Went on to the Dixon site, there it was exactly the same for £229. Someone kind enough on here gave me a code of COOK5 and i ordered it this afternoon for £217 odd. A Saving of £32 against Currys current price. Free delivery too. Bargain that, Dixons will get more of my custom.

OP, might be worth a look.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

There are a few Dixons shops dotted around the country,
on the website it says Find your Local Store and saw the nearest one to me was Redcar.

Are you sure? I can't see any link and the only dixons I know of are "dixons tax free" in airports but you can't see locations on their website?

That's from google not from the dixons site. Those are all currys.digital stores now.
