Apple curd spread on HM toast, ingredients and costings, will add method…

385g net weight apples so use approx 400g 50p
    50g buttery spread 12.5p
    75g sugar 7.35p
2 tsp garam masala or mixed spice/cinnamon if you have it 2p :D

70p per 490g batch with 3 slices HM toast from a 2lb loaf tin, breakfast is 7.8p :)

Ummm...:p...well...I will try that with my substitutions for sugar (not suitable for Bob and Shirleys meal - but will do nicely for mine methinks:D).

  • Gosh you folks have been busy today, its great to come home from work and find a lot of exciting recipes to try, thank you :T, it will make Shirleys life so much easier Im sure. I know this is really cheeky because you have all been working so hard but I wonder if theres a chance of a flatbread recipe:o Only I tried to make some last night and they turned out really rubbish and Im sure Ive seen some yummy ones around recently.

Since saturday Ive tried to cook from the plan, although last night I did make pancakes, but I havent got a lot of oil left Weezl, should Shirley be this low so soon, or is it just me?

I was thinking about Shirley and pancake day and 'is it achievable in the plan' and I thought Feb is only 28 days so she can take the ingredients from the other 3 days - would that work?
LBM March 2011 (what on earth took me so long?)

    total CC £12,661
    loan £5000
DFD 2016:eek::eek: (cant come soon enough)

    Our Weezl

Wot - no birth bag ready yet.... Now - from someone even more organised than I (usually) am....

    BAG:cool: NOW...NOW.....NOW.....NOW....

It aint a gonna take you long to get it together .....

EDIT; Has anyone got a suitable list for that bag that they can post up for our Weezl now - so she doesnt have to devote headspace to wondering whether she might forget owt purlease? (yep...that IS a genuine request.....as I seem to recall Fergus was a home birth...).

Gotta look out for our Weezl...

I'm pretty worried about the oil supplies too:o

Basically avocet's fab tool will be able to easily work out where we're needing more of an ingredient, but she's away for a few days. So my plan was to try to link to as many recipes as I can between now and then, hence today's flurry, or at least the ingredients and costings. And then if Kester does make an early arrival, you've all got something to do while I'm away :rotfl:

I'm sorry I've never made flatbreads :( Mrs Macawber will doubtless have posted a fab recipe for them. Just put her username and faltbread into the search tool and I'm sure you'll be happy :)
