Morning all,
I need to scan and upload a copy of a letter in a PM, had a look around the reply box and it only seems to give me the option to upload from a url.
Mine is a doc on my desktop, it's not from the web.
Can I still upload in my pm or am I only able to upload to the thread I am involved with?
Many thanks for any help.

I've PM'd you an example of how I'd do it - via an image hosting site.0

Hope it helps.
You may need to adjust the size of the scanned image (via JPEG compression, etc.) depending on any limitations of the hosting site that you use.0 -
As said, you need to host the image on one of the free image hosting sites and include it as a link.
Some forums allow you to "attach" files to posts/PMs which means it goes on to the forum's own server; CAG for example.

That would have been much easier for me to attach it that way but no worries. I have an old account with photobucket, havent used it in 2 years so I will have a go with that.

The only thing with using free hosts with no registration is that there is no way to remove the image once posted.
Fine for most things, but if you are posting docs/letters to do with debts or claims etc... then you may well want to remove the files from the host once you are done with it.
