  • wannabe - often see him strutting up and down the road at night (I live on a very quiet road).

I did once get up on a day off a year or so ago and walk into the kitchen and he (or someone else in his family!) was literally outside the window curled up and snoozing around the same time of the morning. I have 2 tiered levels to my garden and he was at window level.

Good luck Bookie - still go for the interview - good to have choices.

rictus - do you mean the live on £4k challenge? I started it last year because I only had around that much per year to live on without it being through choice - very hard though and I only lasted a couple of months.

  • Morning all!

Someone is chopping a tree down with a chainsaw near my house, which woke me up. At least I'm awake now though and I can get some work done soon. I also need to go shopping at some point today. So it's a busy day ahead of me.

  • Morning Bookie,

    How typical is that???
Can you now stop the reposession as you`ve got a job??

I'll have to see on Monday.
Why do these letters always arrive on Saturday so that you have to worry all weekend. I swear they do it on purpose!

Morning Bookie, I think that they do it on purpose too! Or maybe they need to clear their desk by Friday afternoon, who knows.
If you get the DHL job, will that make a difference to your potential offer? ( possibly a stupid Q, I know) . Its something else to throw at the Bank, or use in Court.
Wish I had a magic wand....

He was snoozing away when I opened the curtains in the bedroom. Stood there with the window open taking photos and he didn't stir. It was only a minute or so later when a neighbour made a noise he woke up, looked at me taking photos and sloped off.

That is Sooooo Coooollllll I love foxy loxys. Dont know if anyone can remember the tiny kittens that I was worried about last year (OH thought he had decapitated one with the strimmer and we didnt see the mother for days) well I have just seen 2 of them in the garden this morning, my how they have grown into handsome cats.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
