looking for white gloss paint

I have a painted white cupboard in my bathroom
I painted it Last July and its started to look
a bit yellowish.
Can anyone reccomend a good paint in brilliant
white that I can use to repaint it I will also be
doing the door frame in the same paint.
I need one that will stay a nice bright white
a bit longer than this one I used,I think from
memory it was Dulux non drip.
Also any prep tips would be helpful as I
would rather spend longer to get it right
thanks

Oil based gloss paint yellows in time due to the linseed oil content particularly when deprived of natural sunlight.. Some are worse than others. The best IMO is Dulux Trade Brilliant White. You could look for an acrylic (water based) gloss paint - personally I don't like 'em!
Are you sure you cleaned the old paint completely before decorating in July?

I've always found white satinwood finishes to stay brighter and cleaner than gloss. Regardless of make.0

Gloss paint turns yellow - it's the 'gloss' that discolours, not the white. For longer lasting white try a matt or silk finish. Or ofr the cupboard you could try taking it outside and spraypainting it with car paint.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
