I need a debit card for bad credit that can allow direct debits from it. I'm presuming a prepaid card is the way to go but whilst i have looked on here I cannot find any articles on this subject?
Any help please

Try these bank accounts listed here: http://www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk/pdfs/bank_accounts.pdf
Most of them comes with a debit card, as well as direct debit facilities.
I recomend Barclays and Natwest/RBS accounts from that website. LTSB account only allows withdrawal from their cash machines, which isn't good.0 -
I would reccomend one of the following:
Lloyds TSB Cash Account (VISA debit, intended for those with bad credit / defaults)
Co-Operative Cashminder Account (VISA debit, intended for those with defaults / CCJs)
Barclays Cash Card Account (VISA debit, no credit check whatsoever)
I'd try them in that order, Lloyds TSB are the best out of the three IMHO and will upgrade you to a full account without another credit search if you run the account flawlessly for six months.
Good luck!

You could use the savings account from Yorkshire Building Society called Cash Transactor.
It allows direct debits, standing orders and comes with a LINK ATM card plus can be used at any YBS or Britannia branch.
Money can be paid in by bank transfer too.

Lloyds won't upgrade you to a full account. I've run my account flawlessly for almost two years and I can assure you it is not that easy!0 -
