URGENT Paypal advice

I've just agreed to sell an item on ebay for £130. At the moment the person I've agreed to sell to is the only bidder and has bid £100. How do I go about ending the auction and making the winning bid £130? I'm confused
Sorry had to say I got confused (again!) I obviously meant Ebay not Paypal advice.

I think that if your listing has more than 12 hours left to end you can revise your item and add a BIN price of the £130 you agreed upon. I haven't tried this myself before so if I'm wrong I'm sure one of the regulars will correct me. Cheers.I

I'll try it thanks.
Ok I tried it and it's a no go. It doesn't give the option maybe because there's already a bid on it. I wondered if I did the pre approved bidder thing with it and just made the individual the only bidder but then how would I raise the bids. Unless I effectively did some shill bidding. Oh still confused0 -
its up to you really
personally i always do 'off ebay' sales, which technically, ebay don't like (because they don't get any fees)
just ask the person to pay you (in a NON-BOUNCEABLE form) then cancle the auction once you have payment
dont' cancle the auction before you have the money, as
A: if they really want it, it forces them to pay quick
B: if they dont pay, you can still sell it without messing about re-listing
now, use your noggin, if they have 0 feedback and a non verified paypal address somewhere in central birmingham or london (for example) and answer to the name Mr ambobobobeo, there's an ever so slight chance that they're trying to scam you!money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

To keep the transaction on eBay you could cancel the 1 bid that you have and then add a BIN for £130.00-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I think I'll go for that. I prefer to do it all "legal" like just incase it all goes pear shaped especially as the persons only got a feeback of 1.
You are all so helpful on here.:j0 -
erm...................'legal'
trust me, the ONLY advantage of keeping it on ebay is that your feedback can go up (or down) 1 point
conduct it as a private sale and you dont pay over £5 in fees to ebay
if it were to go pear shaped, i think you'll find ebay's assistance next to useless, for £130 you'll have to pay them £15 and then they'll only cover you for around £105 (i think, someone clear that up), meaning that already you'd be 40 quid out of pocket IF you got ALL of the compensation ebay can provide, don't forget postage costs also
add to that the paypal side of the equation
really, ebay has done a great job into scaring people enough to pay the fees here clearly
.
use yoiur brains, get a verified, registered address for the user (if they're using paypal, PLEASE dont use paypal for expensive goods.........https://www.bleugh.co.uk/paypal)
try to get a landline phone number for the person to make them easier to track down should things go wrong
only post using SPECIAL delivery, this provides proof of delivery AND insurance for £250 in its basic formmoney saving my @rse.

Sorry all but the rules on this forum are not to stray into grey areas. The ebay rules do not allow for sellers to deal off ebay items that have been listed for sale..it might not strictly be termed illegal, but it is certainly something I would ask that we are careful about discussing on this forum.
I would suggest that the OP takes razorbladekisses and remove the existing bid and add a BIN. Or leave the auction to run as with 1 bid in already and someone offering a BIN it might be worth more than the OP thinks.
