Yep, done survey, I HATE Ironing with a passion, but like nice crisp ironed clothes, would happily pay someone for it doing. Good luck with your venture. Well done for looking into what people want, not what you think they want.

would you be doing it yourself, or would you be hiring outworkers to do it for you? Collect during certain periods, drop/collect from outworkers during certain periods and deliver to customers during certain periods.

Do you have an adapted van to be able to hang all the clothes? Do you intend to cover all the work you have (like dry cleaning)? Have you factored in insurance?

Thanks to all who have done my survey, I'm very grateful.

Kelloggs36, I'd be doing it myself and we have a MPV which we can fold the seats down in - my husband can do a rail arrangement for me so I've got it covered. I have factored in insurance and am getting quotes :)

  • I did it. If I had more money, less debt I would love to pay someone to do my ironing.... And washing my clothes (minus my undies thanks)..

LOL I run a ironing service and if you did send your undies to be ironed I'm afraid they would be sent back unironed it's not hygenic to do things like that

Done the survey. I actually do use an ironing service from time to time because I am disabled and can't always get through everything.

My lady charges by the washing basket full: I admit I would think twice at the prices per item that you quote:o. My lady does expect the basket to be of a reasonable size, and will up the charge if it either larger than expected or overflowing. She charges less if you deliver and collect.

    Good luck!
