Also gone as well but the last question about free delivery i would expect free delivery anyway and this should be factored into your charge.0

Hope it works out for you. A friend of mine started her own ironing business and shes doing really well0 -
Hi, I'm going to set up an ironing business too and was wondering about the income side of it. I'm hoping to cut my hours at work because it's a miserable office job.
So can anyone answer a few questions like how many leaflets, ads etc, how long to get enquiries, how many regulars and how much are you making a week?
Thanks x0 -
Done. Not that I could afford to pay someone to do my ironing for me - but if you are going to offer the option of them delivering/collecting and also you collecting/delivering to their homes, perhaps you could offer a cheaper rate or special offer if they deliver/collect from yourself. I wouldn't mind dropping ironing off if it meant I got a better deal in doing so.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

I'd be interested to hear whether your views matched those from the surveysThrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
Goodness, thanks to so many of you for doing my survey and for adding in the extra comments here too!
Ms Chocaholic, my views were pretty matched from the survey - ie charge per item, offer free collection and delivery and my prices seem about right, though will probably drop the infant charge a bit.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Completed the survey for you!:)
I used to do ironing years ago (not my business, ironing for someone else)
We were paid by the hour, but we had a list of how long a certain item should take.
Plus we would buy starch and were reimbursed for that.

Although why anyone wants to do more ironing than they can get away with I have no idea! Good luck with it though.
It's only a game

I find ironing so boring, wish I could justify paying someone to do it!0
