Free sms on bt

Hi
I have just got a new phone which allows me to send texts and on my Bt package it says that i get 200 free texts a month.
How do i go about registering for the text service and also can i send texts to mobile phones for free as well as landlines.

Does the amount of texts that you have sent show up in the recent usage section of your bt account?

Yes, they show up in recent usage.
Selection of Usage Details has , All usage types, Evening and Weekends, Text

I guess it will be per calender month, but I have never exceeded the monthly limit.
When selecting View usage details for: Text, it simply shows all outgoing text messages for the billing period ... Sample...
Date....Time...Description...Duration Cost
22 Nov 21:06 1234567890 00:00:03 0.00
23 Nov 09:14 1234567890 00:00:04 0.00

There is no count down on remaining free texts...
Remember it's BT billing

No. It runs from the beginning of your billing period (whatever that is) to the end.
