Fitted Kitchen Experts, opinions valued

Hi
I posted just before Christmas saying I was considering a John Lewis kitchen. I was very kindly pointed to Mereway who manufacture the kitchens for JL. I do still intend to get my (relatively) local supplier to come to do a plan for me.
Yesterday I had a (very) local company come to do me a free plan. They sell Burbidge doors and it's Pullman Furniture cabinetry. She's coming back next week with my plan, samples of work surface things for me and door handles so I can choose for her to do the whole quote thing for me.
The woman who came yesterday was very nice, no sales pressure whatsoever. No suggestions of gadgets that would bump the cost up but that I wouldn't use which was what I feared.
Anyway, my question is, given the choice, those of you in the trade, would you go Mereway or Burbidge?
Service is important to me, kitchen looking good still in 5 to 10 years is a must. My budget is around £15k.
I don't have full details of the cupboards etc specified yet but can post that in due course (ie - when i see the 3d plan thing next week.) I have no imagination and really have no idea what it will look like until someone can show me the model!

PS - I've waited 2.5 years to do this but really don't want to make expensive mistakes!
