Can I buy "your" Clubcard ID?!

I am looking to make a major purchase, for a big event (Goldsmiths are on Clubcard deals if that helps you see where I might be going, for richer, for poorer...).
The more I can save in Clubcard points, the greater the (significant ie 4x) impact it has on my spend.
My question is...
Tesco prevent you buying vouchers in other peoples names from ebay and spending them in conjunction with your own, however...
They don't stop you merging Clubcards (and changing one address) together.
So
If you had, (hypothetically) £200 worth of clubcard points (20,000 points) would it be possible to do a deal and "take over" that ID, change the address to your own and merge the totals "legitimately".
Thankyouverymuch.

presumably anyone who has £200 in clubcard vouchers will not want to stop collecting. So they would have to re-register and Tesco might smell a rat at that point. I'm not sure anyone would want that much agro to sell you some vouchers??? But then again what do I know?? I'm saving all mine frantically to take the family on holiday next year! Good luck anyway!£2 saver club £16 so far!! - it's growing!!! :j
#3 in the £30 k in 2 years on e-bay club :T

I have 4 tesco clubcards, and have joined every tesco club going - I also insure my cars with tesco, use a tesco clubcard and buy till spills off ebay and codes for online shopping. This way I maximise my points.
I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

You could always advertise on ebayThere is no need to run outside

i think this is such a grey area... it might be well advised to leave alone..as in search of more points you could end up losing everything......i think one of the quickest ways for you to collect tesco clubcard points....would be to have some internet orders.... and get the 1000 point codes in the tesco code thread....you could also get a club card plus....and get double points everytime you use it at tescos.....(you put money into it every month by standing order... and you can also top it up at customer services before you shop)
also join the tescos clubs...wine....healthy eating....baby and totddler....etc...they will send you out seperate mailings with point vouchers off certain products.......i had a voucher for 30 points off some chocolate milk shake... which was 48p to buy......so with the deals.....my 48p turned into £1.20...so i gained...72p.... we give the milkshake to the dog... what i am getting at... sometimes its worth buying the product as the deal value is far greater than what you pay.....
good luck......and i hope you find away round it ..also.......just a thought....have you got to go to those jewellers to buy the rings....you might find you might find a better price elsewhere , and use your points for a honeymoon ..or a romantic weekend away......Work to live= not live to work0 -

Maybe have you thought that tesco have these rules in place to stop people like you getting away with them. I suggest saving the traditional way or go on ebay and buy peoples vouchers and buy the deals on tesco's site. You can use anyones onlines codes, they do not check them.Kind Regards

I wouldn't buy converted Goldsmiths deals on ebay, as the OP says, Tesco prevent third parties using these by printing the Clubcard Holder's name on them. Same goes for MFI Deals, Hotels and Holidays I think.
Although I do have over £200 in vouchers coming in August I'm not the slightest bit tempted to sell them, it takes too much effort to get this much and like a previous poster, I am saving for a holiday next year.
I have saved this many vouchers since May, so you could do the same in just 2 or 3 months if you shop a lot (instore or online), get petrol at Tesco and sign up for Powergen and all the Clubs as everyone says.

they have started checking online codes now

i have used other people's codes before (mum, brother, sister etc.) who don't have my surname or postcode and it's all worked fine but i recently bought somebody's codes off ebay and it seemed to go through okay but tesco called me and said they are refusing my order. they wouldn't tell me what would happen to the points. the ebay seller is willing to send off for the deal i wanted if tesco will give him his points back, but tesco aren't doing that as far as i know. they won't tell me what's going on because his details are covered by data protection, and they won't tell him what's going on because the same applies to my details!
i paid £43
