What is it?


Just bought a computer with it installed, and was wondering what am i going to get when i open the box.

Is it Vista upgraded, or is it actually Windows 7.

My OH was most annoyed to find out she couldn't change the desktop background on her new netbook, since they took the option out of the Starter edition :eek:

Especially since she paid for the upgrade from XP to Windows 7 with Dell, and for the same price she could have just bought Windows 7 with the student deal they had on

tis installed on a lotta netbooks, it is possible to use anytime upgrade to make it better (?) however it is cheaper (sic) at amazon 65 rather than M$
It will also be better to buy more memory and forget the Aero and other "nice" bits of HP/Pro/Ultimate . My Sammy (N140) is not moaning about having a nice wallpaper .
