I have a new Medion desktop with Windows 7, which replaces another Medion desktop running XP; my wife and son have Medion laptops running Vista.
With my new PC are 2 Recovery Discs for Windows 7 Home Premium(1 for 32 bit, 1 for 64bit)
Firstly is it possible to use these discs to load Windows 7 on the other PCs? Secondly is it legal?
For my old desktop I have the Applications disc. There is one particular program(NERO) that I would like to load on my new PC. Again is that possible? And legal?
Thanks

This time, almost certainly possible but probably illegal. The question is...For my old desktop I have the Applications disc. There is one particular program(NERO) that I would like to load on my new PC. Again is that possible? And legal?

Using the disc to load windows 7 is not a problem for anyone and certainly NOT illegal. The only thing you cannot do is use the same coa (product key), you must purchase another (ensuring it is the same version as your discs).
As far as nero goes providing you are no longer using it on your old PC you can reload it as per their terms and conditions on your new PC, however, you will probably find that it will not work on windows 7 and you will have to either buy an upgrade (providing you have a valid license for a previous version) or the new version which is the only Nero which is compatible with Windows 7 (Nero 9)0 -
