Bare rooted then. When you plant them , cut them back to about a foot high. You MAY get an odd raspberry this year, but you will get so many more next year if you push them to put there effort into producing new shhots rather then fruit this year.
If you have any old tomato or other fertilser, make up a weak solution - say half strength and soak the roots of all the plants in it for an hour befor planting - no more than that. Gives them that wee bit of a boost. or one third HLA - human liquid activator.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Don't have any fertiliser as this is my first ever attempt at growing something. Human Liquid Activator - sounds like something I should drink for an energy boost!
