Deleted Something In Add Remove Programs By Mistake

My daughter deleted something from add remove programs by accident and everything looks bit faded shes not sure if anything else has been affected yet but how can she get this back? Can she do role back or something? ifd so sghes never done it before and niether have I its windows xp. She cant rem exactly what it was but she thinks it was something like KN400/KN4 something but that could be wrong

you should maybe try a system restore that will prob sort the problem out.0

Shes tried the system restore but it doesnt work. She says the writing is something kind of like safe mode and she cannot press the stand by buttonThanx

how can she instal anything if she hasnt got anuything to instal?
When she clicked on it in add remove programs a box came up in a different language and then the computer turned off and came back on again and was like it is nowThanx

is she in safe mode?
what happened when she did a system restore? Did she have a list of restore point to choose from?
Does this ring any bells?

If it is XP, the driver might be on the hard disk somewhere, and the add new hardware might pick it up. If not, someone is going to have to download it for her.

I found this on the acer site do you think it might be the bottom thing she wants and will it do any harm to try it?

She could try taking it round to a friends house to get it off the net but how can she see if its on the hardisc to save her doing that?
