Messenger

I have a problem with windows live messenger -
I updated to the latest version and hated it -
It kept signing itself out and then back in.
I managed to get rid of it completely and reinstall messenger 8.5 -
Now though it will no longer remember me and auto sign in -
I have to type in all of my details everytime I switch on.
If I log out andon't restart it will remember until I restart then it's back to square one.
I know this is a minor problem but it IS very irritating
I have used all of the options to select this and ticked all of the boxes when signing in.

What do I do to make it remember me - HELP ME PLEASE.

    Just a note to say I've solved it - I found this site - went to ''troubleshooting'' and downloaded some files that it said are needed by messenger - I restarted and problem solved - Karin

    http://www.imzers.com/msn/solve/general-troubleshooting

    go to this troubleshooting page - there are some files offered for downloading.

    go to this link on the page;

    **Download and execute this file to register several dll files that are required by Messenger**

    -download - unzip and follow instructions - then reboot - worked for me - Karin.

    I haven't tried that but at the moment I don't need to as the above answer has solved the problem and messenger is working ok. - Karin
