I've got one of these, I'm glad I came here and looked them up before doing anything else. Does anyone have the prize codes for the newer cards? There are parasols, leaves, sweets, shoes, cakes and fans. If anyone knows what these correspond to, I'd be grateful to hear it.

    Hi
My wifes father who is 80 found a scratch card in his gazette and scratched it, he had 3 of a kind so he rang them (purely creative depatment) and they said he had won a million so he sent off his scratch card by registered post "so they cant get out of it" (his words) and he thinks he is going to get the million. He of course never read the small print and he rang me ten minutes ago to tell me all this. I said its a scam and he should off kept his money in his pocket and not have rang them. Now im worried the poor fella who is 80 will get so much spam mail and get pulled into spending money like these nigerian cons. He lives on his own and we dont know what hes upto until he does it and then its mentioned in passing remarks. Worrying hes old and a little bit gullible.
Any ideas what i can do about this from this point forward?
Thanks guys i had to have a little rant cos it annoys me that old people are a easy target.

Details are on the back of the scratch card. Something like Dept DRD or something. Tells you how to opt out if marketing.

Despite being ordered by a Judge to cease these scams in a case bought by the OFT, yet another one of these cards fell out of a magazine today. They no longer seem to have £10 prizes, so you can't even claim that cheaply.
    Sent from my abacus.
  • Hey All

I recently scratched this and got 3x APPLES. I rang up and got charged that ridicolous fee they take. Then they said i won a holiday or something. Could i plea/bargain just to get some cash £50 hell even £10 unless the holiday is true.

Regards please help, id give some money to the poster who could help.
So i have the Number (that you ring up for)

Ive filled out the card. Do i send it off signed for with a self addressed letter 1st class stamped and then sit back and wait? or should i ring somewhere?

    please help

    Thank you VERY much

I just received my first ever £15. I started to ask for the claim number on 5th of January, and I received the cheque last Saturday. I took more than 6 month, and it cost me a few stamps only (6 or 7). Well I just found another scratch card. :)

I've got the £1 million cash card and I've got 3 guitar. I guess it will be the Tenerife holiday.
    Anyone else?
