I have brought a woodburner for the garage for when I'm doing my motorbike projects and have approached some factories near where I live to see if they are happy for me to take the pallets. Buying from either of the above is really the most expensive way - you do need seasoned, really dry wood- but there are various types of 'wood burners' and it all depends on which you have. If you collect it from woods etc it will need to be dried, this can take up to two years. Splitters, axes (even from Aldi) all add to the cost!
But the wonderful heat is worth it all.
