£5 off each leg of a return journey, Dover to Dunkirk and back with no surcharge for any amendments.
Exact wording of their advertising was:
"Book your Dover - Dunkirk crossing by 31/01/10 for travel between 06/01/10 - 16/12/10 and take £5 OFF each leg of your journey.
That’s a saving of £10 on any return trip!
When did you book?
You had to book by 31st January.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

There is a difference in charging an ammendment fee, and being charged the price differential on the ticket price.
Most of the ferry companies charge a £20 ammendment fee, regardless of the price of the ticket that you are changing to, as an admin fee, and basically to prevent people simply turning up late and trying to get on the next overbooked ferry.0 -

While I dont like this amendment fee business, I think its disproportionate. Thats not exactly what I am complaining about.
The offer is giving the chance to change bookings without worrying about those fees
What I was getting at was that their advertising doesn't make it clear that although theres no amendment fee you lose your £10 discount if you make any amendmentIWasLookingBackToSeeIfSheWasLookinBackToSeeIfIWasLookinBackAtHer.....0
