Won a laptop never had one before?

Presume they run off a battery not the electricity?

How long does the battery last? Does it come with a charger? Are new batterys expensive?

Any feedback on laptops please?

    Laptops will run on both battery and mains.

    It depends what make/model to your other questions.

    It will come with a charger and most of the time you will be using it with the charger as generally the batteries don't last very long.

    Each model is different so no-one can say how long the battery will last, it is also dependant on what you are doing.

    It IS a PC, so yes, install the same AV and anti malware stuff as your desktop.
