Acer One Aspire

Hi All,
Woundering if anyone can help, my newphew got a new webbook for xmas an Acer One Aspire, however a week later he dropped it and the screen shitfed to the left, I sent this for repair to Acer who charged £114 to replace the screen and cable, however I recived the unit back today but when I put the power on the screen is just black, I know windows is booting as I can hear the windows log in music after a minute or so, but the screen is just black, doesnt even come on at all at start up or anything, anyone have any ideas what this could be, befoe I call Acer up with all guns blazing.
