Pap, I've always had 6 day periods of not running, once a fortnight in fact. You might not progress at the same rate as someone who goes out 3 times a week or more, but you wont slip backwards. Can you do some walking in the meantime? Or run elsewhere? Your safety is the most important thing.

Ahhh cool, I will try it and see what happens if I have to stop/slow down I will drop back a day/week. I walk the dog anyway but thats where I walk him too  However I am thinking maybe walking to the school fields/farm or another local attraction and then running there and walking back. That will still give me 1hour walk/run or 6miles :T We shall see. I may just brave it and use my ipod for the training minus my music so I can hear anything. Thanks for your help...

Pap - they are advertised everywhere - 'it screams' one think from M & S, but you can also get them from the police I think as my mum got one when she was broken into...

Thanks Becky, I shall see if m&s sell them tomorrow maybe. There are loads online but its the delivery times that are off putting :o Thanks for your help...

Yes it is Financial reporting and yes I am determined to make you do one....I don't want to suffer alone...

I am worried about Scorgy - she was waiting for the results and I haven't heard from her since...I am hoping she hasn't failed....
