hi
does anyone which beaches are suitable for camping on in cornwall? Me & OH are looking at going from Fri 28th July for one week, we got a mattress in back of car just in case (weather wise) but also taking tent. Doing it true MSE style.
Already exchanged my nectar points for Eden tickets! And Tesco vouchers for 2 nights in a Youth Hostel.
Mainly heading along south coast and up to St Ives.
Any ideas on lovely places to go would be great.
thanks in advance for your help.

Try Mother Ives bay. We’ve been there on and off for about 8 years. Just down the road from Padstow.0

You are best off trying the tourist office.http://www.cornwalltouristboard.co.uk/
Give them a call, they should be able to let you know.

Good site at The Marver at Mawgan Porth inbetween Padstow and Newquay. Basic site lovely people who run it, 150 yards from a wonderful beach, and the The Merrymoor who do great beer and food. They are popular, so ringing would be advised, be equally they are arrive and set up site if you check out the site board when you arrive and look for the gaps.0
