Has anybody any personal experience of these that they can share before I buy one of these?
I have got an Epson R265 which produces excellent photos but I am getting a bit stalled with having to fork out £50 for genuine ink / £10 for copies every 100 or so prints. I've seen these in action at a number of computer shows, but was wanting a more "hands on review".

Hi Sweep,
I posted the same question a few weeks ago, here but didnt really get any replies.
However I decided to take the plunge and get one for my Epson R300 from Amazon.
The system came prefilled and was easy to install, although i did knock one of the ink tubes of during installation and made a bit of a mess.
The kit came with sticky fastenings to hold the tubes in the correct place, leading out of the printer.
I did not like the idea of havig the lid open all the time so I used a hobby tool to cut a small notch in the lid to pass the tubes through (My printer is over 4 years old so no warrenty issues)
The print out quality is excellent for photos which I do a lot of hence buying the system, but I have found that when printing documents the black does not seem as dark as original Epson Carts ( but it is not noticable on photos)
Hope this helps0 -
hi sweep
i have one of these for my rx560 and it works great i do a lot of printing onto disks and have had no problem
there is a uk company called buytech that does them for about £16 plus delivery0 -
For anyone using EPSOM printers, before you replace the ink when there is a light flashing. Try running a program called SSCserve.
EPSOM in their wisdom did this so when ink levels reach a set level it says replace ink, SSCServe resets it and you could save some money
I don't know if it works with all printers, but it worked on 2 deskjets and the cartrdiges lasted loads longerOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

Finally got one!
Bad points:
1. Bit fiddly to install: Had to change position of pipes a few times as the head got stuck twice (I did follow the instructions first!)
Good points;
1. It works!
2. The printer thinks that it's got genuine cartridges installed (No more silly warning)
3. The inks are very close to the epson originals
4. It's cheap to print now
I went for a manual reset button type as pressing a button every 100+ pages for a saving of £20! I used ebay to buy it and it came within a week.0
