Awwww cute bunny!!! Lops are just adorable :happyhearI hadn't thought of pine cones, despite the fact that I always give them to the gerbils! I will go hunt some out. Its kinda bizarre how vegetarian bunnies seem to have a real love of expensive leather
Numerous times OH has had "RSPCA moments" after yet another belt has been destroyed... You are very right about the escape route thing though...do the tunnels you use give Biscuit the impression of multiple exits or are they just as a play thing? Buster ignored his tunnel when i bought it for him a year ago but its worth another try!
Rabbit rehome forums are such a wonderful source of information, but I always feel like such a terrible owner compared with some on there so feel embarrased to post!
Your bunny must be very well behaved if hamster panels keep her at bay to some extent! Buzzy had a dog pen once but was so determined to get out he learnt to open it. We found other ways to secure it, but he'd get round these too to the point that he would lift the whole enclosure up with his teeth, push forwards to use his head to support it and slide under!:rotfl:Little devil!
What do you guys think of using a gentle squirt from a child's water pistol if he is destroying a door? Will this deter him or simply undo all the hard work I've put in developing trust between us?
Typical, now I'm finally serious about taking action he is laying on my feet good as gold :A0 -

LOL ah bless him he is a troublesome bun.
We did use a squirt of water on my previous bunny, it did work fairly well, but like you say once you aren't looking they are back to being naughty, i find blocking, hiding and covering things that aren't meant to be chewed is the best method.
Biscuit currently has taken a dislike to my NEW lovely rug, scratched, bitten and weed on it
We use the tunnels between the rooms, and I do believe she thinks they are alternative escape routes, although I don't think much actually goes on between her fluffy ears tbh.
Hey be brave join, we need some normal peeps on therenow I am making it sound like a cult....

We also rent.
We also use distractions such as loads of different hays in her litter tray when she is downstairs about 4 tunnels and cardboard boxes.

Clare & Biscuit Bunny x
Biscuit looks Sooooooooooooo cute.
My bun loves cardboard boxes, especially when she gets a new one, sits watching me while I cut out entrance/exits in them.
Also quite fond of the laces on my trainers, tugs them till they come undone.0
