I have two tickets for the garfield at bath but have never done it before and dont want to waste journey! can anyone settle my nerves?

Well, thats two of us who like that idea yay!! :p

Settle your nerves about what? :p If you have your tickets there is no reason to worry at all - YES they will let you in! :)But as I said before, on the off-chance (and this has not happened to me, so far) that they do ask for your ID (to check that it matches the name on the ticket) just make sure you have valid ID. Other than that its a easy as pie and exactly the same as if you had bought the ticket. :T

    So relax! ;)

    Enjoy the movie!:j

Perhaps you can tell me why they list Bath as being in Gloucs? I thought it was Wilts.

one final QUESTION! where do you show the ticket?
  • Aww, you're not still worried about it are you? Bless :p hehe

It is exactly like a regular cinema ticket (although 10 times bigger as it's printed on A4) and you just show it to the same cinema staff you would have shown it to had you bought a regular ticket.

lfc4ever, seriously, when I said it's as easy as pie, it really is. :) There is nothing illegal about watching a movie using a free cinema ticket, honest ;) Just because you didn't dole out the £11.50 to pay for it doesn't mean that it's any less of a cinema ticket and you might get nicked for using it. ;):p

If I haven't calmed your nerves after this I'm gonna resort to reverse psychology, start slagging off liverpool footy club and get your hide up ;) (I'm a Man U fan :p ). If you don't bulldoze into the cinema after that...I give up ;):rotfl:

    shhss I'm an :A

Hi, if anyone has 2 tickets and cant go to manchester, would they consider donating them to a 35 week preganant woman? Many thanks. martin
When there's a knock at the door, why do dogs always think its for them?
  • Thanks for offering your tickets finc and sweetus123. Really kind of you both and totally in the spirit of MSE!

So, if anyone hasn't been lucky enough to get tickets for Manchester Printworks (finc) or Hull (sweetus123), please PM the appropriate person.

As to the issue of the tickets having names on them, it shouldnt make a difference unless the cinema staff on duty bothers to ask you for ID.

Most people who have used these free printed tickets before will tell you that no ID was asked for. So its worth having a go getting in to see the movie even if someone else has given you their ticket. You shouldn't have any trouble doing so.

    Hope this helps :)
